There is nothing quite as good as bite sized energy balls! Whether they are soft and squishy from the blender or fudgy and cold from the freezer, these wholesome bites are a winner!

My vanilla bliss balls are a staple in my kids lunchbox and can be often found in big batches hiding in my freezer away from greedy little hands. They are awesome to have on hand for those times when I feel like something sweet after dinner or with a morning cup of tea!

You can add Cocoa to these to give¬†them a chocolate flavour if that’s your preference!


Whole Food Plant Based Bliss Balls


  • 2 cups medjool dates
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 Tablespoons tahini
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Desiccated coconut for rolling


  1. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on medium for approx 2 mins.
  2. You will probably need to scrape the sides of the blender to include all mixture
  3. Roll into bite sized bliss balls and roll in coconut
  4. Store in fridge or freezer
