This Overnight Oats recipe has been an absolute favourite amongst clients, friends and family. It is a super easy and a quick way to prep your breakky the night before and have something healthy and satisfying to grab on your way to work. The oats will keep you feeling full and satisfied with the fresh grated fruit for a dose of nutrients to start your day. Feel free to add any other fruit you like or even grated carrot so get some veg in there!

I prepare mine in a mason jar because I love that handle, the wide mouth (to fit  spoon in) and its super portable with a screw top lid.

 

Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • ? 1/2 cup grated apple or pear
  • ? 1/2 cup raisins or cranberries
  • ? 1 cup oats
  • ? 1?2 cup preferred seed ( i.e. sunflower, sesame, pepitas)
  • ? 2 tbsp. chia seeds (fabulous source of protein)
  • ? 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • ? 1 cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to jar in this order and stir well.
  2. Leave in fridge overnight.
  3. Add more almond milk if required in the morning.
