In today’s podcast, I sit down with Dr Kim Williams to get his thoughts and opinions on Reversing Heart Disease using plant based nutrition. Dr Williams is the Chief of Cardology at Rush University in Chicago and was the President of the American College of Cardiology in 2016. He is a strong advocate for the undeniable benefits of a Whole Foods Plant Based Diet. His work in this field and his in depth knowledge of prevention and reversal of heart disease has put him at the forefront of this movement in healthcare.
For many years as a cardiologist and professional tennis player, Dr Williams followed what most would consider a healthy diet: no red meat, no fried foods, skinless chicken, fish, fruit, vegetables, and grains. So it came to a huge surprise to him when in 2003 he found his cholesterol levels to be reaching sky high levels.
