A delicious, healthy and super duper quick recipe for you today. These overnight oats are a winner with the whole family. 2 minutes to prepare the night before and ready and waiting for you in the fridge by morning. Great for a quick, portable breakky on the way to work or for kids to enjoy as their own little breakfast jar!

A whole food plant based recipe that will keep you feeling satisfied until lunch! (Hint: you can use hot water instead of plant milk if you are trying to keep this breakfast at a low calorie density)

 

 

Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup grated apple or pear
  • 1/2 cup oil free raisins
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup preferred seed ( i.e. sunflower, sesame, pepitas)
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds (fabulous source of protein)
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 cup oat or almond milk

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to jar in this order and stir well.
  2. Leave in fridge overnight.
  3. Add more liquid if required in the morning.
